What is the incident energy exposure?

1.2 cal/cm2 to 12 cal/cm2Over 12 cal/cm2

Note: Incident energy may be found on the equipment label. If it is not, an incident energy analysis must be conducted, and should be based on the standards provided in NFPA 70E.

Incident energy must be calculated for the exact equipment and installation in question, requiring detailed knowledge of the system and some careful math, often performed with specialized analysis software.
