Long-Sleeve Shirt and Pants

There are many types of arc-rated long-sleeved shirts and pants. Shirt sleeves must be fastened at the wrists, closed at the neck, and tucked into pants. If there are pant cuff adjusters, they should be adjusted to fit snugly around the ankles. There should be no path for an arc to reach the skin, such as up under the shirt or around the wrist/ forearm area.

Some companies choose to use AR shirts and pants that are also high-visibility for work zones where better visibility is necessary.
